Stories from the Front Line: Zero Trust and Google Cloud

Guest speaker Enrique Alvarez joined OpenVPN for a special session on Zero Trust. As a retired FBI agent and supervisor, he witnessed firsthand the impacts of cyberattacks while leading a cyber investigative squad focused on state-sponsored threats. Currently serving as Public Sector Advisor in Google Cloud’s Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO), he has inside knowledge of why Zero Trust matters. In this session, Enrique shared insights and stories from the front lines of Zero Trust, including Google's very first implementation of Zero Trust back in 2009 — and why Zero Trust should be on your roadmap.
