We're excited to introduce Live Route Updates for CloudConnexa®, a new enhancement that enables mid-session routing table modifications. With this update, you can make IP-related changes without disrupting your users’ VPN connections.
As an IT administrator, ensuring secure and reliable network access for your organization is always a top priority. Previously, any IP-related changes to your CloudConnexa settings would trigger session reconnections for all connected clients. While necessary to deliver updated routing information, these reconnections could be disruptive to your users' workflow, impacting their focus and productivity.
What does this mean for network management?
Live Route Updates gives you the power to manage your network with greater flexibility and efficiency, ensuring seamless security and an uninterrupted experience for your organization.
With Live Route Updates, you can now modify your CloudConnexa network routes and IP Service access controls on the fly — keeping your business network secure and efficient without affecting user sessions:
- Routes: Add, update, or delete a route in a Network to improve efficiency, resolve connectivity issues, or immediately segment your network without interruptions
- Access Groups: Add, update, or delete an Access Group for a Network or Host configured with IP routes or IP Services to ensure the right people have secure access to the right resources as needs evolve.
Start using Live Route Updates today
To start taking advantage of Live Route Updates, make sure your clients and Connectors are updated to the latest versions:
- Update all CloudConnexa Connectors (e.g., hardware router, virtual machine, etc.) to openvpn3 version 25.
- Update all user OpenVPN Connect apps to at least version 3.7.2.
Once these software upgrades are complete, no other configuration changes are required.
